The field of blood?
The article analyzes why the "Field of Blood" bears that name, drawing on the accounts in Matthew and Acts. These accounts do not contradict one another but offer theological and popular perspectives: the purchase with "blood money" and Judas's death.
Acts 1.19 (King James Version) :And it was known unto all the dwellers at Jerusalem; insomuch as that field is called in their proper tongue, Aceldama, that is to say, The field of blood.King James Version (1769), domaine public — texte : eBible.org
